Our approach

Practical AI.
Configured with care.

The components behind a private AI environment, and the choices that determine how it runs.

How it fits together

From documents
to useful answers.

A private AI environment brings approved information, a knowledge workspace, and a selected model together.

The configuration defines where information is stored, what reaches the model, and who can use the system.

  1. Approved documents

Selected manuals, policies, and other reference material provide the knowledge for the workspace.

  2. Knowledge workspace

The workspace indexes the material for search and retrieves relevant excerpts to accompany a question.

  3. Selected model

A model uses the question and supplied context to produce a response. Source material remains available for review.

This is a simplified flow. Storage, indexing, access, backups, and model connections are arranged for each deployment. Hosting a workspace in Canada does not by itself mean its model calls stay in Canada.

Where the system runs

Two infrastructure paths.

Canadian hosting

An environment hosted in Canada, with workspace, storage, access, and model arrangements defined for the deployment.

  • Hosting and backup locations identified
  • Operating and access responsibilities documented
  • Model processing location made explicit

Your own infrastructure

A workspace on infrastructure your organization owns or manages, with local model options suited to the available hardware.

  • Hardware and model choices matched to the workload
  • Internal access requirements considered
  • Offline operation where models and dependencies support it

The configuration work

Clear choices.
Documented operation.

The work extends beyond installing a model.

Workspace setup covers document preparation and retrieval, user access, model selection, and the flow of information between components. Testing, operating notes, and handover make those choices understandable to the people using and maintaining the system.

Canadian privacy requirements depend on the organization, province, sector, and information involved. Residency is one consideration alongside provider access, jurisdiction, external dependencies, and the organization’s own policies.
